ADS Securities, financial services firm, has announced a promotion of Ryan Lemand to the position of New Head of Asset Management & Wealth Management at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Has Dr. Ryan Lemand got what it takes to be successful at his new position?
15 September, AtoZForex – Earlier last week on the 6th of September, ADS Securities, the financial services firm based in Abu Dhabi the AtoZ approved Forex broker, has announced two executive promotions at its headquarters.
Dr. Ryan Lemand as New Head of Asset & Wealth Management
To be specific, Dr. Ryan Lemand has been assigned as ADS Securities' New Head of Asset Management & Wealth Management. Moreover, Marcelo Vasques has been appointed as their New Head of Global Markets in Abu Dhabi.
It is necessary to mention that Ryan Lemand holds a PhD in Financial Econometrics from École Normale Supérieure. Moreover, Dr. Lemand has been positioned as Head of Managed Solutions & Business Development, Asset Management at ADS Securities since 2015. He has been leading the maintenance of special relationships with flagship global funds and the development of the companies’ managed accounts platform. Ryan Lemand also has served as Senior Advisor and Head of Risk Management for the Securities & Commodities Authority in UAE Federal Government for 7 years.

Dr. Lemand’s career began at Fortis Investments, where he was serving as a Credit Default Swap trader in such cities, as London and Paris. Dr. Lemand is also an author of two books on financial contagion and Market Risk. The promotion event was commented by Matteo Legler, Chief Operating Officer at ADS Securities. He stated:
“For us to truly realize the enormous potential of our Global Markets and Asset & Wealth Management business, it is critical we empower high-calibre, seasoned executives to run it. Both Ryan and Marcelo possess the unique combination of vision and leadership that will allow them to take our business to the next level.”
Since the establishment of the ADS Securities Asset & Wealth management department, it has been continuously growing. ADS Securities also stated that the launch of Managed Accounts platform is on its near future agenda.
