Fundamental changes in global regulation

CySEC regulated anyoption is among a number of other Binary Options and Forex brokers that are still adapting to the new frameworks in various jurisdictions. Most importantly, the Israeli regulator is not allowing Binary Options brokers to solicit clients from overseas and CySEC news rules. The Cypriot regulator has required its licensed CIFs to execute all client-related activities in Cyprus or in another EU country.

CySEC has issued a Circular with a range of proposed changes to regulations. This aimed at improving the obligations of Binary Options brokers so that CIFs will “meet their compulsions in acting in the best interest of their clients”. Also, the circular forces regulated brokers to operate their sales and marketing department from their head offices or from EU-member countries. In regards to these initiatives, anyoption and other brokers are trying to actively adjust to the new rules.
