The British Columbia financial regulator has issued a warning against dealing with CFD Capital Markets. Is CFD Capital Markets scam or reliable?
29 May, AtoZForex – Canadian securities regulator, the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has issued a public warning against the Forex and CFDs broker. The company under the spotlight is the entity operating under the name CFD Capital Markets.
Is CFD Capital Markets scam or reliable?
The BCSC has issued a warning against Forex and CFDs broker CFD Capital markets. Specifically, the regulator states that the broker is operating online through the website cfdcapmkt.com. The firm is claiming to provide an online trading platform for Forex, Forex options, contracts for difference (CFDs) and commodities, according to the BCSC warning.
The regulator states that it became aware of the CFD Capital market after the Canadian resident has been able to open a trading account with the broker. However, the Canadian watchdog highlights that the broker CFD Capital has no registration to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC. The regulator has added:
“We urge BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that have no registration to trade or advise in BC.”

OSC warning against CFD Capital Markets
Earlier last year in October, CFD Capital Markets has received a warning from another Canadian watchdog, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). Based on the OSC’s warning list, the brokerage has the office in Morocco and its address there is 40 Rue Abdellah El Habti Str, Raham Building, 1st Floor Suite 68 Tangier.
Consequently, the OSC warns investors against using services of CFD Capital Markets as the brokerage has no registration in Ontario. However, this case also featured the warning against another broker - Apex One Trading Group. AtoZForex has reported that both Apex One Trading Group and CFD Capital Markets have very similar content on their websites.
