Marco Baggioli now will be serving as the new ADS Securities COO. Mr. Baggioli has been working within Abu Dhabi-headquartered brokerage for 2 years now. What do we know about him?
10 July, AtoZForex – Marco Baggioli has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer at ADS Securities. Presently, he is also serving as the Executive Managing Director at the brokerage and the Global Head of ADS Securities.
Meet new ADS Securities COO - Marco Baggioli
ADS Securities is the Forex and CFDs brokerage with headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Mr. Baggioli’s new role will imply new responsibilities. He will be taking care of such ADS Securities’ business lines, as Operations, Legal & Compliance, and Product and Change. Moreover, he will be in charge of ADS Securities’ IT, Marketing and HR aspects.
During his work within ADS Securities, Mr. Baggioli has been serving at the headquarter office. The new role will not require him to change the location, and he will be serving as new ADS Securities COO in Abu Dhabi.
Now, as a part of the new position, Mr. Baggioli will be reporting to the CEO of ADS Securities, Philippe Ghanem. In addition, the new ADS Securities COO will have dotted-line management responsibility for brokerage’s London and Hong Kong branches as a Board Director. Dotted line responsibility implies that Mr. Baggioli will be reporting to more than one person. ADS Securities CEO and Vice-Chairman, Mr. Ghanem, has stated:
‘As ADS Securities continues to expand and develop Marco has become a highly valued member of the executive management team.
His experience and knowledge of regulatory issues, market dynamics, and prime brokerages bring essential skills to the company and in his new role he will be able to provide direct input and guidance as we take the business forward.’
Marco Baggioli's career
Mr. Baggioli has a significant experience in the international financial services field. To be more specific, he has been working in the industry already for more than 25 years. He became a part of ADS Securities London Limited back in July 2015.
That time, he has joined the brokerage as the London office COO. After serving there for one year, Mr. Baggioli has moved to Abu Dhabi ADS Securities office. Mr. Baggioli has commented on his new role:

Prior to joining ADS Securities, Mr. Baggioli has been serving as a Global Head of FX Prime Brokerage at BNP Paribas. Moreover, he has held senior management positions within key global banks. These include Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan. Mr. Baggioli has also worked in MonteTitoli SpA, the Italian Central Securities Depository. He has led the financial institution through its privatization from the Bank of Italy back in 2000.
